WWE Tag Team Reportedly At A Standstill In Contract Talks

According to PWInsider. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson are currently at a standstill in their contract negotiations with WWE. This issue has reportedly led to The Good Brothers being pulled from all upcoming scheduled WWE Live Events. Gallows & Anderson are still scheduled to be at TV Tapings & PPV Events, but they have been pulled from all upcoming live events indefinitely.
As previously reported, there has been some speculation that Gallows & Anderson will be leaving the company once their current contracts expire this coming September. They have reportedly turned down multi-million dollar deals as they are not happy with how they are being booked in recent years. WWE Officials have reportedly been meeting with Gallows & Anderson for the past several weeks to discuss a new deal as they have been doing with many other talents as of late. It was previously reported that Gallows & Anderson have already missed out on some live event dates because of how the initial contract meetings didn’t lead to a new agreement between the two sides.
Gallows & Anderson’s last win happened at The March 12th Pre-SmackDown LIVE Dark Match when they defeated SAnitY but their last TV appearance came on The February 5th episode of SmackDown LIVE when they lost to Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura. It looks like their last non-televised live event bookings came in late February as they were defeating SAnitY at weekend shows.
Gallows & Anderson remain in talks with WWE about a new deal. It was previously reported that The Good Brothers are determined to continue their pro wrestling careers outside of WWE. A lot can happen between now & September, but there continues to be strong speculation that they will be leaving the company.
As previously reported, Anderson recently took to social media and apparently denied the reports by posting a video of his 7 year old son Cylus.
“My dad said don’t believe everything you read..,” Cylus said in the video below.
