Ronda Rousey’s Attitude in WWE, Dunne’s Huge Goal, Lashley Plans

Ronda Rousey is easily one of WWE’s biggest signings in a while. The former MMA star put in the effort to train and successfully transition into a role as a professional wrestler, and her hard work has been paying off so far. According to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has taken note of how committed Ronda Rousey has been so far. Unlike some former athletes and football players who have transitioned into wrestling over the years, WWE officials have reportedly loved working with Rousey so far and her attitude backstage has been tremendous. Ronda will be receiving a shot at the Raw Women’s Championship when she faces Nia Jax at Money in the Bank next month.
With WWE set to produce a second United Kingdom Championship Tournament later on this year, it does certainly seem possible that there could be a new UK Champion crowned very soon. That does not take away from the fact that current champion Pete Dunne has been a fantastic titleholder so far. He has defended the title in not just WWE but multiple independent promotions ever since he first captured it. Believe it or not, one year has already gone by since Dunne won the title. “The Bruiserweight” has defended the title ever since he defeated Tyler Bate at NXT Takeover: Chicago on May 20th of 2017. Dunne posted a message on Twitter yesterday commenting on his huge milestone.

Bobby Lashley has already been back on Monday Night Raw for a month and it looks like he will be feuding with Sami Zayn for the foreseeable future. After Lashley talked about how much he loved his sisters on Raw a few weeks ago, Zayn promised that he will be bringing Lashley’s sisters to Raw during tonight’s edition of the show. The latest Wrestling Observer Radio show elaborated on some of the plans that have been made for this storyline. There is no word on whether or not Lashley’s real sisters will be on Raw tonight, but it was noted that the segment is expected to be akin to the “This Is Your Life” segments that WWE has done a few different times in the past.
